Tanah Lot


Attractions: Tanah Lot Bali is a natural tourist attraction that is very popular with local and foreign tourists , many visitors who come to Bali told to come to Bali had to Tanah Lot , Tanah Lot if not all have never been to Bali so people praising the attractions located Beraban village , district of Kediri , Tabanan regency . There are two temples are located in Tanah Lot Beach , the temple is located on top of the boulder and a temple located on top of a cliff that juts into the sea .

Pura Tanah Lot temple is a place of worship the gods guard the sea, the temple is located in the middle of the sea , when the tide . When the tide is clearly visible temple in the middle of the sea , to pray to the Hindu Pura Tanah Lot shall at low tide , then the people could cross to the Pura Tanah Lot .

According to legend , this temple was built by a Brahmin who came from Java, Nirartha successful Balinese people will strengthen confidence and build Sad Hinduism Goda . Therefore Nirartha teachings , making followers of the ruler Tanah Lot at that time the ruler of Tanah Lot turn left and follow Nirartha , then Bendesa Beraben Nirartha told to leave the Tanah Lot .

Nirartha undertakes Beraben Bendesa request , but before leaving Tanah Lot , Nirartha with all his strength to move the boulder into the middle of the coast and build a temple there . He also change the shawl to be worn as a sea snake temple guards . Snake is still there to this day , and can be visited when the waters receded and see firsthand where the snake . This snake is a small but famous for the deadly poison , black and yellow striped flat tail like a fish and say racunya 3 times more lethal than cobra snake .

Tanah Lot is not only a tourist attraction but also Pura beach and a sunset travel obejk ( Sunset ) , so that the tourists prefer to visit to Tanah Lot on the afternoon before Sunset .
